Twilio Build Campaign
This was a multi-phase awareness campaign that ran the course over two years.

The brief

Communicate how Twilio helps businesses transform their digital presence and engage with customers. Reach an audience of B2B business decision-makers, including executives and product managers.

Media

The campaign was featured online on the Twilio homepage, as social ads, display banners, and as print in prominent newspaper and magazine publications such as The New York Times and The Economist. Additionally, in certain countries, online video content was also produced.

My role

I was responsible for driving visual design, art direction, certain campaign strategy aspects, some copywriting, and pitch work to present to internal stakeholders.
I also designed and supervised the production of thousands of banner ad and social post versions throughout this campaign.
Google Photos Launch Campaign
I collaborated with teams from Google, Toaster, Deeplocal, and BuzzFeed on the launch campaign for Google Photos.

The brief

Tell people how Google Photos automatically organizes your photo library and makes it easily searchable. We want to reach folks who enjoy taking photos and own a phone or computer.

Media

We ran a social media campaign, hosted a live event throwback party in Los Angeles, had an interactive traveling waffle truck experience in a few major cities, designed a pop-up book, and developed numerous other deliverables as part of the launch.

My role

I was part of the team responsible for visual design, art direction, certain campaign strategy aspects, copywriting, and presenting pitches to internal stakeholders.
Meow Mix Catstarter Campaign
We launched three Catstarter projects on our crowd-fundraising platform designed exclusively for cats. People had the opportunity to vote for their favorite projects through social media, and they were rewarded with prizes for their participation.

The brief

Tap into the internet's love for memes and reach Cat enthusiasts who are passionate about providing their feline companions with high-quality, nutritious food.

Media

The campaign centered around the website which hosted the projects. We created animated videos to describe and promote these projects, driving people to the website for voting through social media banners, videos, and display ads.

My role

I was the lead designer on the website, helping establish the campaign's look and feel. I also designed spot graphics and worked with the illustrator and animator on the final animated videos and graphics.
Cloud City Supply Co.
An in-person retail activation that provided people with the opportunity to demo Twilio APIs to select their conference merch.

The brief

Show conference attendees how Twilio technolgy can be used to create a modern shopper-friendly retail store. We will be talking to a mix of developers, code enthusiasts, business owners, product managers, and executives.

Media

There was a physical space equipped with monitors and cubbies, along with a web store where attendees could select their merch. Additionally, we designed signage, shirts, socks, and other merchandise for the event.

My role

Before the show, I helped design the physical space and layout, and was also responsible for designing shirts, socks, and signage. During the event, I played a crucial role in managing workers and ensuring everything ran smoothly with the store experience.
Twilio Awareness Campaign
A high-level awareness campaign aimed at informing business people about what Twilio does.

The brief

Twilio helps business B2b decision-makers, such as executives and product managers reach their customers on different communication channels.

Media

Billboards, bus shelters, and newspaper stands in four major cities. Airport ads in twelve markets. Animated video versions in select high traffic markets.

My role

I served as the art director lead on a small creative team that pitched ideas to the Twilio COO. He opted for a clear and direct message, which led to the development of these simple executions. Subsequently, I designed and built out these executions in hundreds of ad sizes.
